The BN-20 is an integrated die-cutting desktop inkjet printer that will open the doors to endless creative possibilities, and all with an impeccable level of quality. Equipped with a piezoelectric inkjet print head capable of printing at 1440 dpi resolution, the BN-20 ensures exceptional quality prints with smoother gradations, richer colors and higher image saturation for sublime photographic reproductions and graphics.

Print and cut in one integrated workflow

The VersaStudio streamlines the production process by automatically cutting the prints it produces. So you don't have to reload them and reposition them after printing is finished. For laminated prints, our four-point optical registration system, Quadralign®, allows the user to unload prints, laminate them and then reload them for cutting. Quadralign automatically realigns cut threads and compensates for possible out-of-squares and distortions.

Easy media feeding

A simplified print media feeding system ensures automatic alignment of the consumable rolls for printing. This intuitive system detects and adjusts the pressure roller to the width of the installed media, thus ensuring proper positioning and tracking. The BN-20 accepts spools up to 6 inches high and 20 inches wide for a maximum weight of 5.9 kg.

State-of-the-art print engine

The XR-640 printer has two gold-plated, 8-lane, in-line piezo inkjet printheads for fast, high-quality printing. Thanks to technology Roland Intelligent Pass Control and variable dot control to produce droplets of seven different sizes, the XR-640 produces smooth gradations and exceptional solids; it also offers superior photographic reproduction in all print modes.
